Mentor
Dušan Basalo is the founder and CEO of Talks and Folks, the leading agency in Southeast Europe for representing professional speakers and preparing them for public appearances.
For over 20 years, he has worked with managers, leaders, experts, and public figures to develop authentic, persuasive, and original public speaking skills from conference stages and media appearances to internal presentations before boards of directors.
He served two terms on the Board of the Serbian Association of Managers (SAM), totaling six years, and currently holds the role of Program Director for the SAM Academy and SAM Mentorship Program, both focused on developing top-level leadership and communication skills.
Dušan is also the Program Director of the ESG Academy within the Western Balkans ESG Foundation, where he serves on the Board as well, with a special focus on leaders’ public speaking in complex and sensitive topics such as sustainability, ethics, and accountability.
Throughout his career, he has prepared hundreds of managers at various levels for external and internal presentations, public appearances, speeches, and panels. With global experience across projects in over 30 countries, Dušan emphasizes practical knowledge and tools for speech and presentation preparation, avoiding unnecessary information and theory.
