Using LinkedIn
for Professional Purposes
LinkedIn is today much more than an online CV. It is a professional network, a channel for building credibility, a generator of opportunities, and a space where professional reputation is formed.
A successful presence on LinkedIn
The workshop guides participants through all the key elements of a successful presence on LinkedIn — from profile setup and optimization, through understanding the algorithm and audience behavior, to creating content that brings visibility and business connections.
The focus is on practical examples from real situations: how people in the region build their personal brand, how companies use LinkedIn for sales, recruitment, and partnerships, and what truly works in our market context.
Participants leave the workshop with a clear plan — what to change on their profile, how to approach communication, and how to build a long-term presence that leads to tangible business results.

In the early 2000s, he worked as a web designer and (primarily) a web developer. Since then, he has worked on more than 400 projects across 28 countries worldwide.
In 2002, he founded the largest online community in the Southeast European region — Burek.com, which today has more than 4 million members. After several years, he sold a significant stake to an investment fund from Central and Eastern Europe but continued to lead the business, helping it achieve 40% year-over-year growth for the next four years.
Later, he worked in the U.S. and other English-speaking markets as a business and marketing consultant, collaborating with more than 50 of the world’s most recognized brands.
He has also spent the past 10 years working with more than 150 small and medium-sized businesses, helping them grow and expand their operations. In collaboration with Telenor, he founded MojaFirma.rs, the most relevant online source of information for small businesses and entrepreneurs in the region.
His blog “For The Win” has been recognized multiple times as one of the best blogs in Southeast Europe. Ivan also writes for leading media platforms in Serbia, including BizLife, PC Press, Domen.rs, Netokracija, Sportske.net, BeforeAfter, and Južne Vesti. He occasionally contributes to the local editions of Vice and Sport Klub as a photographer and videographer, illustrating sports stories.
Today, he teaches Digital Project Management at the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade, hosts the “Pojačalo” podcast, and runs his own business in Belgrade — the premium burger bar Burgos.
